A Message from Beth QuistMost of us are taught and groomed by people who pass on what they have heard or believe. I was raised in Utah as a Mormon in a rather religious environment. Everyone I knew was Mormon and white. Over time, the structures and concepts I had been taught started to crack. Eventually I felt as if those building blocks and foundation were more like walls and a barrier rather than a foundation. I had many questions that could not be answered except by "have faith" or "God wants that to be a mystery to us" as well as conflicting recommendations that seemed to cancel each other out. My life purpose was the same as it was for every female - to marry, have children, and serve your husband, family, and church. We were all the same - all cookies cut from the same press. Eventually I took a leap of faith and left.
My new quest allowed me to explore new ideas and concepts. The journey of discovery was challenging, difficult at times, and much longer than I expected. But the process helped me expand my awareness and consciousness. It allowed me to truly KNOW and no longer have to assume or trust information from those in positions of authority or power. l I'm retired, and recognize I'm probably in the final chapters of this life experience. I wanted to make sure I shared the nuggets of wisdom I learned along the way. I hope you will may find some of the experiences or nuggets worthy of trying them out on your own. |
My Book![]() "Cultivating Spiritual Energy" is a reference book of how to develop and cultivate different subtle energies to have different types of spiritual experiences. These are the same lessons that John U.K., my Spiritual Guide and Teacher, gave to me to help me learn how to change and match my energy frequency for different types of experience. |
